"Port of Notes" and the one and only singer-songwriter Miyuki Hatakeyama." Kazuma Fujimoto, guitarist/composer of "orange pekoe" and a leader of the "new chamber music in Tokyo" scene with his unique leadership works. The two, who deepened their resonance through live performances last year, recorded an album under the twin names. The studio work "Night Garden" was completed, featuring new compositions written by each of them.
The title track "Night Garden," with its symphonic and progressive scale, the scent of the earth beneath the night sky, and a folkloric feel reminiscent of a real landscape, is one of the highlights of the album. The nostalgic worldview expressed in the lyrics is based on the landscape of Miyuki Hatakeyama's childhood. She spent her childhood lying on a cloud ladder handmade by her grandfather in the garden of her parents' house in Kesennuma, her birthplace, and never tired of looking up at the star-filled sky. This song, a honeymoon of song, lyrics, and sound, symbolizes the "nostalgic yet new" direction of this work as well as the duo's appeal.
