First single of 2021 from the NYC-born bedroom pop musician, budding TikTok star [992K+ followers], and touring bassist for Caroline Polachek, The Knocks, and Kitten. Her tracks have received 30M+ streams across platforms and 139K+ Shazams. Her April 2020 single "Figure It Out" has been the subject of 470K+ TikTok videos and her newfound viral following attracted the attention of Ones To Watch ["a bass-heavy funk pop track with an irresistible groove"], Interview, PAPER, and other outlets. The follow-up "Cotton Candy Lemonade" has been featured in 13K+ TikTok videos and the track and video received press from PAPER, Bustle, and Bass Magazine ["a groovy track where Blu’s hypnotic vocals blend with her preeminent bass skills"], among others.
