‘신세계에서’ 이전의 드보르작을 만날 수 있는 피아노 듀오
드보르작의 “보헤미아의 숲 From the Bohemian Forest”과 피아노 삼중주 “둠키 Dumky”를 피아노 듀오로 연주해 한 앨범에 담았다. ‘봄의 공간에서’, ‘검은 호숫가에서’ 등의 부제를 단 “보헤미아의 숲”은 소제목이 말하는 그대로의 풍경이 눈앞에 떠오르는 맑고 즐거운, 짧은 곡들이다.
‘생각, 공상’이라는 뜻을 지닌 슬로바키아 어 “둠키” 역시 제목에서 연상되는 바를 투명하게 투영한다. 동유럽 특유의 애수 어린 화음은 드보르작의 의도대로 ‘흥겨우면서도 슬픈’ 감상을 온전히 전해 준다.

아티스트 소개
피아니스트 Artur Pizarro와 Rinaldo Zhok는 오드라덱 레코드(Odradek Records)를 통해 처음 만났다. 각자의 솔로 음반 레코딩 작업 중 친해진 두 사람은 피아노 협연(듀오)에 대한 서로의 생각이 놀랍도록 들어맞는다는 사실을 발견하고 함께 작업하기로 결심한다.
2014년 첫 결성 후, 두 사람은 포르투갈의 푼샬, 리스본 등에서 리사이틀을 가졌다. 드보르작의 곡만으로 이루어진 이 앨범은 그들이 함께 한 첫 레코딩 작업이기도 하다.
